Low temperature afterglow from SrAl2O4: Eu, Dy, B containing glass

چکیده
SrAl2O4: Eu, Dy, B particles were added in a phosphate glass (90NaPO3-10NaF (in mol%)) using the direct doping method. For first time, composition of prior to and after embedding them was analysed EPMA analysis. Boron found be incorporated already distorted surroundings creating new trapping centers which are thought favourable for tunnelling process so afterglow at 10K. Despite partial decomposition particles, exhibit low temperature confirming promising materials applications.
